Ben Lohr, Administrative Assistant
I am 41 and am married to my beautiful wife Darcy, we have two kids (Brooklyn and Hannah) and enjoy spending time together and our animals. We have two dogs, two cats and one guinea pig that we give too much attention. I was baptized Episcopalian and then went on to go to Catholicism when I was around eighth grade. I was confirmed early and enjoyed teaching my peers and the adult programs until graduating high school. I went on to peruse my career and worked in management, and other administrative jobs over the next 20 years while gaining two college degrees in marketing and business administration. I have been practicing as a member of First Lutheran Church in Cedar Rapids recently where I have served on the building committee and taught three years of religious education in the past. I had always felt I wanted to be involved with the church due to my love of theology and philanthropy and found a new place here.
